KnitIdeas.comis an online community created by Alpca Direct for Knitters and Spinners. On this community you can have your own blog where you can post and share, add ‘apps’ to your page like twitter tracker which tracks certain words on twitter, look at tutorial videos and post your own projects.

This community also has some of the same aspects of the main communities (i.e. facebook, myspace, ravelry) where you can create or join groups and talk on forums.
It is a pretty new site so there are not many members as yet, but it is certainly not a ravelry clone, so I suggest checking it out, you might see something you like.
