Okay, now I had intended to review the entire Phat Fiber Sampler Box that I was lucky enough to get my hands on this June. However the post grew so big that I had to split it into fiber/ yarns and stuff (i.e. patterns and stitch markers) I will be posting both tonight, so be on the lookout for an extra post from me!
http://PhatFiber.com -This is the site, the big kahuna, and they only send out these boxes of love one day a month and then only in limited quantities. I advise you check this out.
http://FarmGirlChic.etsy.com - Has processed and raw fiber and lovely sewn pieces.
http://TactileFiberArts.com - Has a great selection of quality fibers and yarns, and some awesome free patterns
http://spincerely.etsy.com - Has handspun and fiber and I adore their sandpiper colorway!
http://LibertyFibers.com- Has both roving and hand dyed yarn.
Plum crazy ranch - Sent a sample with very pretty colors and an interesting mix, but the site is hard to navigate so the store link is: http://stores.shop.ebay.com/Plum-Crazy-Llama-Ranch-Fiber-Arts__W0QQ_armrsZ1
http://Woolyhands.etsy.com- Has some lovely handspun yarns, roving and batts (I just found out that these are two different things; who knew?)
http://SmokyMountainFibers.etsy.comHas hand dyed roving, undyed roving, and a few cute sock yarns (not handspun)
http://www.teresasdesk.com/ some really nice fibers and yarns… I would check her out
Platformninedesigns.etsy.com has a little bit of everything, row counters, yarn, roving, stitch markers, project and recipe cards, even an adorable (and affordable) necklace
I got a mohair sample from Wonders Mohair, but the tag directs you to http://Wonderswaterfowl.comfrom which I only see the option of buying angora goats and ducks, now I do love my ducks but I can’t really see how a duck would help me as I knit, crochet or spin…. yarn winding ducks perhaps?
Here is the photo (it will take you to my flickr page if you click on it) of the whole box of goodies:
